Errata: corrections we have made

Corrections are logged rather than quietly applied. Each entry records the page, the original value, the corrected value and the date, because a number that changes without a record is indistinguishable from a number that was wrong and stayed wrong.

How to report a number you think is wrong

Send an email to corrections@100buy.best with four things: the page address, the figure as it appears, what you believe it should be, and where that comes from. The fourth item is the one that matters most — a disagreement without a source is hard to act on, and we would rather ask a follow-up question than change a number on assertion alone.

What to include in a correction report
ItemWhy it helps
The page addressLocates the figure without ambiguity.
The figure as it appearsConfirms we are looking at the same number, since figures carry collection dates.
What it should beA specific alternative is actionable; “this looks wrong” is not.
Where that comes fromA published term, a carrier page or your own record — all three are usable.

If the correction involves a private order record, redact anything you do not want published; we only need the figure and the mechanism.

Handling times

What happens after you report something
StageTypical time
AcknowledgementWithin three working days
Assessment against the sourceWithin two weeks
Correction published hereWith the next monthly review
Disagreement recordedIf we cannot confirm the correction, the disagreement is logged here too

We do not close a report silently. If we conclude the original figure was right, that conclusion is recorded with the reason.

This first entry is a record of a change made during the initial build rather than after publication. It is logged here because the plan and the published site differ, and the difference should be visible.
