Where our links go, and what that means

This site links to kabosheet.com, where the product list lives. We do not sell anything, we do not take payment, and we do not handle orders. Any purchase is a separate transaction with the seller or shopping service you choose, governed by their terms.

Our figures are independent of that link. Where a number comes from a partner’s page we say so and date it; where it comes from our own sample we give the sample size. See the method page for the three source labels we use, and the provenance page for the full disclosure.

The relationship, stated plainly

This site exists to help you work out what an order will cost and how long it will take. It also carries links to kabosheet.com, a catalogue of product entries. Those links are how the site is funded. That is the whole relationship: we do not sell anything, we do not take payment, we do not handle orders, and we do not receive a share of anything you buy.

What that means in practice is that a click changes one thing and nothing else. It takes you to a different site. It does not change any figure on this site, because the figures come from our own sample and from published terms rather than from the catalogue we link to.

The three kinds of outbound link

Outbound links by purpose
KindWhere it appearsWhat it opens
Catalogue linksEntry pages, category pages, list tablesThe entry on the catalogue that carries it
Agent linksThe agents index and each agent pageThat agent’s page on the catalogue
Search linksThe search box on list pagesA catalogue search for the term you typed

Every outbound link opens in a new tab, carries a sponsored and nofollow relationship, and leaves this page open behind it. No link is hidden, and none is disguised as an internal link.

What we do not do

Practices we avoid
PracticeWhy not
Link between our own sitesBuilding a link network between related sites is a recognised pattern and we do not take part in it.
Hide an outbound link behind an internal-looking oneA reader should be able to tell where a link goes before clicking it.
Put a disclosure in small grey printThe disclosure on this site appears at 14px in body colour, and also sits inside the first screen of the home page.
Change a number to favour a partnerOur figures come from published terms and our own sample. A partner cannot move them.

If you find a number here that looks tailored towards a partner, the errata page is the place to say so.

What a click does not change

  • The census figures, which come from a sample collected on 2026-10-05.
  • The lane matrix, which comes from published carrier tariffs.
  • The agent comparison, which records what each agent publishes rather than what any of them prefers.
  • The tool outputs, which are computed in your browser from the inputs you enter.
